Dinosaur Jr, “Over It”

I’ve never really made much of an effort in the past to listen to Dinosaur Jr, which is totally counterintuitive, because a) I love dinosaurs, and b) I love a lot of bands that sound just like Dinosaur Jr.  I was one years old the year they got together, and even though I’m sure my tastes were very evolved, for a baby, they did not include much Dinosaur Jr.

Better late than never—this new album of theirs came out today, called Farm, and it’s very good, straightforward rock, more fun than most 25-year old bands have.
